National Film Award-winning actress Bidya Sinha Mim has started working in her new film titled ‘Poran’ under the direction of Raihan Rafi. The film is currently being shot in Mymensingh that commenced on Tuesday.
Mim will be seen playing as a college girl named Ananya-a lead role of the film. Along with the actress, the film also casts young film actor Yash Rohan and Shariful Raj in two different roles.
Mim said about working in the film, “This is my first project under the direction of Raihan Rafi. Two of his earlier films, titled ‘Pora Mon 2’ and ‘Dohon’, garnered audience admiration. The story of his new film is also amazing. Here, I am portraying the role of a college student.”
“Rafi Bhai (Raihan Rafi), with lots of care, is trying to bring out the best performance from the artistes in each and every scene. We are also working cordially in this hot weather. I am hopeful that ‘Poran’ will be praised by the viewers as well,” she added.
Meanwhile, Mim-performed a TV commercial is being aired in different TV channels now where Tahsan was her co-performer. Mim said that she is getting positive response for the TVC. Mim is looking forward to complete her part of the shooting in Mymensingh by September 18. On the other hand, Mim-starrer new film ‘Shapludu’ is set for release on September 27 across the country.
