Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged illegal drug peddler with 3,245 Yaba tablets from Belal Bazar area under Gomostapur upazila of the district yesterday .
The arrested person was identified as M Arafat Hossain, 30, son of M
Azizul Islam of Gaginagar Sanabhanga village under Patnitala upazila in
Naogaon district.
On a tip-off, a team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid
in the area at around 4:45 pm and arrested Arafat with the Yaba tablets, a
RAB official said.
A case was filed with Gomostapur police station in this connection.
