Police have recovered the dead body of an auto-rickshaw driver named Firoz from Pallabi area of the capital on Friday evening. The body was recovered from the road next to the Women’s College, Block E of Mirpur-12.
Confirming the news Pallabi Police Station OC Nazrul Islam said Firoz’s slaughtered body was recovered from the road next to Women’s College in Mirpur-12. It is assumed that killing may take place between 4.30 pm and 5.00 pm on Friday.
The OC added that the deceased Firoz was a weaver and also an auto-rickshaw driver in the area. He lived with his wife and children in the Millat camp of Pallabi. Attempts are being made to find out who was involved in the killings. The body has been sent to the morgue of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
