The relocation of Rohingyas from Cox’s Bazar to Bhasan Char in Noakhali has begun on Thursday.
10 buses, carrying Rohingyas, already left Kutupalong camp in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar for Bhasan Char in Noakhali this morning.
RAB-7 and RAB-15 are providing security during the transfer of Rohingyas from Cox’s Bazar to Bhasan Char.
According to sources, the process of relocation of Rohingyas who fled from Rakhine in Myanmar to Bangladesh has started. In the first phase of the process, 100 Rohingya families left Kutupalong camp in Ukhiya by 10 buses for Bhasan Char.
