Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 63 people and seized drugs from their possession after conducting anti-drug drives in the capital.
Arrests were made and drugs were seized during the anti-drug drives conducted in different areas of the capital from 6 am on Wednesday (December 9) to 6 am on Thursday (December 10), according to a DMP press release issued today.
The seized drugs include 7,360 pieces of yaba, 36.1 grams of heroine, 16.995 kilograms of hemp, 580 bottles of Phensedyl. 41 cases have been filed against the arrestees under the Narcotics Control Act.
