Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will not be held in January. The authority is now taking preparation to arrange the fair in Purbachal in March 2021.
The fair would be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal. The duration would be 21 or 25 days. Three proposals have been submitted before the government about the duration and other issues of the fair.
On Sunday (December 13) acting secretary of Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Mahmudul Hasan told that a meeting was held last week regarding the issue. The final decision will be taken after getting the consent of the Prime Minister.
