Detectives Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested two drug dealers along with 20,000 pieces of yaba from Rampura in the capital.
The detainees are identified as Nadim Mahmud, 27 and Md Riazul Islam Ripon, 44. In a press release, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter on Friday (January 1).
Gulshan Zone Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Md Golam Saklayen said, a team of Detective Branch of police conducted the drive in the area on Thursday (December 31) night and detained them with the Yaba tablets. A case has been filed in this regard, he added.
