The English New Year has just begun. On Friday, the very first day of 2021, former national team captain and world-class all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan came up with a surprise.
He posted an adorable with his wife Umme Ahmed Shishir on his official Facebook page and Instagram when he was seen kissing Shishir’s baby bump. The affection in Shakib’s eyes for his better-half was pretty palpable when he was planting the kiss with his eyes closed.
The veteran captioned the picture and wrote, “New year, new beginning, new addition. Happy new year to everyone”.
The duo has been staying together in the United States of America from the month of March 2020 ever since the COVID-19 pandemic started wreaking havoc all around the world.
Shakib had returned to the country. After the suspension imposed by ICC expired, he played Bangabandhu T20 Cup. But he had to fly for US as his father-in-law was sick. On the way, he got bad news that his father-in-law died. He is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka soon to play a series against the West Indies.
