A 15-year-old boy died after his Bluetooth headphone device reportedly exploded in India.
The tragic incident took place in The village of Udaipuria in the Chomu district from Jaipur.
The deceased youth was identified as Rakesh Nagar. According to the report, citing a doctor, it appears that the youngster suffered cardiac arrest after the explosion of the wireless gadget.
Rakesh was talking to someone on the phone using his Bluetooth headphones. Suddenly, the wireless device exploded, leaving him unconscious. Rakesh was rushed to Siddhivinayak Hospital where he died during treatment.
Both ears were also injured in the blast. Speaking of his death, Dr LN Rundla said it was likely the first incident in the country where a person has died of cardiac arrest as a result of the blast of a Bluetooth device.
