Bangladesh reported 139 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 25,282 across the country so far.
Besides, 4,804 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 14,61,998 in the country.
A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Sunday (August 22).
Alongside, as many as 8,453 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 13, 63,874 the release said.
