Bangladesh reported 79 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 26,274 across the country so far.
Besides, some 3,062 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,03,680 in the country.
A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Wednesday (September 1).
Alongside, as many as 5,999 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 14,31,984, the release said.
