Bangladesh logged 56 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 26,684 across the country so far.
Besides, some 2,639 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,19,805 in the country.
A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Tuesday (September 7).
Alongside, as many as 5,567 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 14,60,754 the release said.
