Bangladesh national team cricketer Nasir Hossain and Tamima Sultana Tammi’s marriage was not legal. These issues have come up in the report of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) in the court.
PBI investigation officer Mizanur Rahman filed the report in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim on Thursday (September 30th).
According to the report, the divorce documents of Tamima and her ex-husband Rakib Hasan were forged. Tamima Sultana Tammi married cricketer Nasir Hossain without divorcing Rakib Hasan.
The PBI has submitted an investigation report accusing 3 people in the case. Cricketer Nasir Hossain, Bimanbala Tamima Sultana Tammi and her mother Sumi Akter have been convicted.
Earlier on February 24, the court directed the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to probe the case filed against cricketers Nasir Hossain and Tamima Sultana Tammi for marrying someone else’s wife without a divorce paper.
Tamima’s ex-husband Rakib Hasan filed the case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim.
Rakib’s lawyer Advocate Ishrat Hasan said that on February 26, 2011, the plaintiff (Rakib Hasan) got married and registered with the number one accused Tamima Sultana in accordance with Islamic law at a price of Tk 3 lakh. After marriage, they have been living as husband and wife. They have a daughter named Toba Hasan. Whose current age is 8 years. They got married on February 28, 2011 at a price of tk three lakh. Rakib claims that in the last 11 years, he has helped his wife in everything from her studies to her career.
