Third and fourth class will also be held two days a week from Saturday, October 2. Now classes are running in these grades one day a week.
The new schedule was released by the Department of Primary Education on Wednesday (September 29).
According to the new schedule, third grade classes will be held on Sundays and Thursdays and fourth class classes will be held on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
Besides, first grade will be held on Tuesday and second grade on Monday.
Meanwhile, the fifth grade will be the same every day as before. The fifth grade classes will be after lunch break. The rest of the classes will be before lunch break. Ensure cleanliness of the classroom during lunch break.
After a long year and a half of closure, all types of educational institutions from primary to higher secondary level were reopened on September 12. At first only this year’s and next year’s SSC and HSC examinees and fifth grade students had daily classes and other grades classes once a week. Later in the eighth and ninth grades classes were introduced two days a week.
Meanwhile, on September 21, Director General of the Department of Primary Education Alamgir Muhammad Mansurul told the media that the third and fourth class classes are also going to be two days a week.
However, due to the coronavirus situation, pre-primary level classes like infant class, nursery or KG class are reported to be closed for the time being.
