Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will return to the country from Washington DC via Helsinki tonight after concluding her visit to the United States after attending the 7th session of the UN General Assembly and other high-level side discussions.
Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS that a VVIP chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 10:15 pm local time on Friday via Helsinki with the Prime Minister and her entourage.
Earlier, the flight left Dallas International Airport in Washington DC for Helsinki. At the airport, Bangladesh’s ambassador to the United States Shahidul Islam bade farewell to the Prime Minister.
The flight will land at Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport on October 1 at 8:40 am local time. Ambassador to Finland (non-resident) said Nazmul Islam will receive the Prime Minister.
The flight will leave for Dhaka at 9.40 am local time after a two to three hour journey to Helsinki. At the airport, the Prime Minister will bid farewell to the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Finland (Non-Resident) Nazmul Islam.
