Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the United States must recognize the new Taliban-led government in Afghanistan sooner or later. He made the remarks in an interview with TRT World on Saturday (October 2nd). Al-Jazeera and Khaleej Times published the news.
Imran Khan said the United States was still in a state of shock and confusion since the Taliban took control of Kabul on August 15. The American people are currently looking for a scapegoat and are unjustly targeting President Joe Biden.
He said it would be useless for Pakistan to unilaterally recognize the Taliban government. So the United States, Europe, China and Russia should recognize the Taliban.
