The drone strike took place at King Abdul Aziz Airport in Saudi Arabia. At least 10 people, including three Bangladeshis, were injured. Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera reported the information in a report.
The report said the attack was carried out by Houthi rebels in Yemen. Three Bangladeshis were injured in the attack on Friday. Also injured were six Saudi nationals and a Sudanese worker.
A spokesman for the Saudi coalition, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki said the Saudi air force had intercepted and destroyed two armed drones fired by Houthis from Yemen. Several passengers and crew were injured when some of the drone’s wreckage fell inside the airport.
Among the injured were six Saudi passengers and airport staff, three Bangladeshi workers and one Sudanese worker.
