The Pakistani navy has demanded that an Indian military submarine be identified and intercepted while entering Pakistani waters.

The incident took place on Saturday night (October 18), according to a statement from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). This is the third incident of Indian submarine intrusion into Pakistani waters since 2016. The second such incident took place in March 2019.
A statement from Pakistan’s ISPR claimed that the Pakistani navy had exercised “the utmost vigilance and professionalism” in identifying and intercepting Indian vessels.
According to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, a country has no jurisdiction to use its territorial waters or coastal areas without permission.
