The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday directed that two children, Nakano Jasmine Malika and Nakano Laila Lina, will stay with their mother – Japanese national Eriko Nakano – until January 23.
A full bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique passed the order.
The apex court said in the order, their father Bangladesh-born US citizen, Imran Sharif, can visit his daughters at any time since 9 am to 9 pm every day during this period.
The Appellate Division fixed January 24 for passing the next order on the petition.
Earlier on December 15, the Supreme Court directed that two children will stay with their mother until January 3 following a petition filed by Eriko challenging a High Court verdict on this issue and seeking the children to her custody.
